Ed was introduced to the Royals when he discovered his father's dusty VHS recordings of the 1985 World Series; the unmistakable sportsmanship and cacophonous combination of AstroTurf green and powder blue would forever be stamped on the nerdy youth. Twenty years later on April 25th, 2013, broke and sullen from the slings and arrows life had flung upon him, Ed witnessed a miraculous event: a deep center grand slam moonshot by Alex Gordon. In that very instance, Ed went from dismissing sports as fancy for jocks to becoming obsessed with all things baseball and Royals.Now living in Seattle with his wonderful girlfriend Cally, Ed witnessed the glory and heartache of the Royals marathon to Game 7 of the World Series.
