My Grandmother Agnes Mitchell was from Covington, Kentucky and later lived in Cincinnati working for a boys home. The Reds would give her free tickets to take all the orphaned boys to the Reds games. I grew up with stories from Vander Meer's 2 No-No's to Pete Rose's 4,192nd Record Breaker. After 1990, I was hooked.
