Who is the Starter for the KC Royals on Sunday against the Indians?

2. Matheny might just have a bullpen day set for Sunday.

Now, this is my least favorite option of the three, but it could work due to the fact that there will be a 30-man roster available for the first two weeks of the season. The way this would work is someone would go an inning or two, depending on how good or how quick pitchers were, and do that for the entire game.

The way the Royals might start this game is with someone like Scott Barlow or even Jorge Lopez and with the 30-man roster, the Royals could stack up on a couple of relievers like Tyler Zuber, Gabe Speier, and Kyle Zimmer

The reason I don’t see this happening is the fact that it would tax a lot of the bullpen arms and would put a little bit of pressure on the starter for the beginning of the Detroit Tigers series.

Along with this idea comes the idea of having an opener for this game.
