On this happy 2019 Thanksgiving holiday, let’s take some time to appreciate the wonderful Royals and Kings of Kauffman fanbases we have.
Happy Thanksgiving, Royals fans! Hopefully, you’re all awake and either preparing meals for your families later in the day or on the web looking to do some morning reading before you head over to a relative’s house for a feast later in the day. Today’s the one day of the year (well, maybe a few other exceptions) that you can eat whatever you want without feeling bad about it later.
On behalf of the Kings of Kauffman team, I just wanted to take a moment and thank each and every one of you. Whether you read once a day, once a month or even once a year — you’re appreciated. The unwavering support you all provide makes writing articles a joy. There aren’t many better feelings in this world than seeing a fan comment under an article and having a dialogue with them about our favorite team. Our time is coming.
There’s one thing that brings us all together, regardless of whether or not we agree and whether or not we think the same way. It all boils down to being passionate about the Kansas City Royals. Through thick and thin, we’re the loyal fanbase that’s in charge of keeping the “Forever Royal” spirit alive until we can reap the benefits via the next contending team.
Of course, we’re grateful for the team, too. Without the players, there wouldn’t be anything to write about. But the same applies to you. Without an audience, our articles would be sent out into the void of the internet and not received by anyone. You make what we do possible. Thank you for that.
I don’t want to keep you here for too long. Go watch some football and enjoy a fun day with your loved ones. Your normally scheduled programming will resume in less than 24 hours. Until then, though, feel free to come back to this sappy post and drop a comment. We’re just a bunch of Royals fans, after all.
