Kansas City Royals and the 2017 Trade Deadline

It has been a whirlwind baseball season so far. No team proves that more than the Kansas City Royals. GMDM seems completely in on this year so we should expect some movement as the trade deadline approaches.

Moore has a 2015 World Series ring that proves he knows what he is doing. It seems to be a foregone conclusion that he will add to his roster by the end of the month. Whether it is a name that was listed here or someone completely unexpected, as fans we should believe in the best.

Holding on to soon-to-be free agents may make 2018 and beyond a bit scary, but raising another World Series flag at The K could make a rebuild easier to suffer. The way I look at, with Moore in charge the team should remain competitive. I rooted through too many 100 loss seasons to let the idea of a rebuild bother me too much.

For now we should all sit back, buckle up, and prepare for an exciting second half of 2017. Who will be the newest player that we will root for?
