KC Royals Brett Eibner Finishes Triple Short of Cycle in Win
Omaha beat Salt Lake, 11-4.
The Storm Chasers collected 15 hits, with every hitter having at least one except leadoff hitter Whit Merrifield. Jose Martinez and Brett Eibner each had three hits. Eibner doubled and hit a two-run home run.
Christian Colon and Dusty Coleman each had two hits and two RBIs in the win.
J.C. Sulbaran improved to 2-0 in Triple-A, though he allowed four runs on seven hits and two walks over five innings. Buddy Baumann followed with two hitless innings of relief (2BB, 3K), before Louis Coleman struck out four in two hitless innings.
NW Arkansas lost their series to Corpus Christi, losing the finale, 2-1.

Zane Evanswent 2-for-4. The lone run scored in the ninth on a double play against former Royal
Jandel Gustave(who earned his 15th save).
Brooks Pounders took the loss, as he allowed two runs on four hits and three walks over six innings. He struck out five, but allowed a two out, two-run home run in the third. After Benino Pruneda threw a scoreless inning of relief, Kevin McCarthy followed with two scoreless innings (3H, 0BB, K on 22 pitches).

Wilmington beat Potomac, 4-1 to win their first series in over a month.
Zach Lovvorn improved to 3-3 on the season, as he allowed one run on six hits and a walk over seven innings. He struck out two. Estarlin Cordero earned his eighth save with two perfect innings of relief.
The P-Nats had two big leaguers rehabbing. Denard Span went 0-for-2 with a fly out and a ground out. Reed Johnson went 1-for-3 with an infield single, a ground out, and a pop up. All five at-bats were against Lovvorn.
The Blue Rocks got on the board in the first on a Ryan O’Hearn one out, two-run double. He would homer in the third. Cameron Gallagher went 2-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI.
Lexington was swept in Rome, losing the finale 3-1.
The Legends out-hit the Braves, 8-5. Austin Bailey and Anderson Miller each had two hits in the loss. Bailey stole two bases.
Scott Blewett took the no decision, as he allowed a run on three hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out three. Emilio Ogando took the loss, as he allowed two runs on two hits (including a solo homer) and two walks over three innings.
Idaho Falls beat Helena, 6-5.
After Derek Gordon allowed four unearned runs on three hits and a walk over six innings (with six strikeouts), Ian Tompkins earned his fourth win in relief. Tompkins allowed a solo homer over two innings.
D.J. Burt went 2-for-3 with a double and three runs scored. Joshua Banuelos also had two hits in the win. Luis Lara went 3-for-4.
Marten Gasparini committed two errors at shortstop, giving him 27 on the season. He did hit his ninth triple.
Burlington lost to Pulaski, 15-3. The Yankees collected 21 hits, including five home runs.
Ashe Russell took the loss, as he allowed three runs on five hits and a walk over 2.2 innings. He struck out three, but allowed three solo home runs (including back-to-back shots in the 3rd inning).
In the loss, Tanner Stanley went 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored.
