KC Royals Ashe Russell Impresses in Start for Burlington
All four of the KC Royals full season affiliates enjoyed the off day on Monday.
Burlington beat Kingsport, 5-3.

The Royals scored four runs in the top of the fifth, capped by a
Ben Johnsontwo out, three-run home run (he also doubled).
Brian Bienalso had two hits in the win.
Ashe Russell got the start for the Royals and allowed a run on four hits and a walk over four innings. He struck out six. Andre Davis followed and allowed two runs on four hits (including a homer) and a walk over three innings. He struck out four and was credited with the victory. Jacob Bodner earned his third save with two scoreless innings of relief (2H, 3K).
Idaho Falls lost to the Billings Mustangs 6-1.
The Chukars got their only run on Amalani Fukofuka‘s home run in the sixth, his second of the season. Kyle Pollock had two doubles and a walk. Joshua Baneulos also had two hits in the loss and stole a base.
Hunter Hayes started for Idaho Falls and allowed two runs, one earned, on four hits in his three innings, striking out four in the loss. Brandon Thomas allowed three runs on five hits and three walks in his two innings of work.
