KC Royals April 27th Minors Recap
Omaha was postponed due to rain on Monday night in OKC and will play a doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon to end their four-game series.
In roster news, Aaron Brooks was sent back to the Storm Chasers from the KC Royals and will start the first game of the doubleheader. Brooks takes the roster spot of Casey Kotchman (who was, in turn, sent to the AZL Royals).
NW Arkansas won the first game of their four-game series at home against Springfield by a 5-3 score.

Things got interesting in the ninth with
Malcom Culveron the mound. Culver had already walked in a run and the Cardinals had the bases loaded, but he induced a ground out to end the game and pick up his first save of the season.
Glenn Sparkman pitched his best game of the season, allowing two runs (one earned) on seven hits, a walk, and a hit batter over six innings. He struck out six. Mark Peterson rebounded from his last outing to throw two scoreless innings of relief. He only threw 17 pitches, 12 for strikes.
Bubba Starling collected his first Double-A hit, a double, to lead off the second inning. He had two hits and two runs scored in the win. Santiago Nessy collected just his second hit of the season, an RBI single in the second. Mike Bianucci went 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored.
Wilmington had the night off and begins a seven-game homestand on Tuesday night, starting with Myrtle Beach.
Lexington also had the night off and begins a three-game home series with Rome on Tuesday night.
