Kansas City Baseball Vault: Hot Augusts and Fresh Starts

The Royals had a great August – in fact, one of their best in recent history – and we wanted to talk about why on the Kansas City Baseball Vault.

For the first time since leaving the 1510 studios, we gathered via Google Hangout to talk about the hot August, the changes the team made and how they may have impacted the successful month, and the 40 man rosters. We also took a trip around the minors to look at how those seasons have been wrapping up.

We also talked about a few former guests and new roles they’ve taken on. Kevin Goldstein is one of our favorites, and recently took a job with the Houston Astros, while Kansas City Star columnist Kent Babb is headed for the Washington Post.
