Royalman Report 10/30: Bob Kendrick and Jason Parks

The Royalman Report, LIVE Sundays at 7 pm CST

This week features a packed house in studio, with KC Royalman, myself, Chris Kamler and Jeff Herr. It’s for a good reason, too, since we had two special guests this week.

After a recap of the week’s Royals news, we welcomed Bob Kendrick, the President of the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum. He shared his experiences with growing the museum and moving it to 18th and Vine and the story the museum tells. We also discussed the upcoming celebration of Buck O’Neil’s 100th birthday, which will be marked by a city-wide celebration on November 13th.

More information on the events and ways to donate to the museum can be found here.

But that’s not all. We also had Jason Parks, creator of TexasFarmReview.com and writer for BaseballProspecutus.com on the show to talk about Royals prospects. The most recent episode of the Up and In Podcast with Parks and Kevin Goldstein covered a brief look at Royals prospects, including Wil Myers. We asked Jason about Myers’s work in the Arizona Fall League, and also talked a lot about Bubba Starling and Cheslor Cuthbert‘s future outlook. He had some great insight to share and it’s a must listen.
