Triple Play Podcast: Luke Hochevar Injury, Wild Card Preview

On this week’s episode, Reese, Matt, & I talk about the impact of Luke Hochevar requiring Tommy John surgery. We discuss how much it affects the Royals’ pitching staff this season, and what it could mean for his future. There weren’t too many other noteworthy stories to get into from the last week, so we then jumped back to our AL Wild Card Previews, this time breaking down the Tampa Bay Rays. We talk about their vaunted lineup, their solid pitching staff, and their intriguing bench. There also was some discussion about Matt Moore, and if he’s really as good as his results have been in his first two seasons.
