Omaha held on for the 9-3 win in Tacoma. They scored two runs each over the first four innings. Things got interesting in the ninth, as the Rainiers got to lefty Will Smith (who was then ejected six batters into the inning). However Donnie Joseph struck out the final batter of the game.

Smith was not the only Storm Chaser that was ejected. Outfielder Quintin Berry was ejected in the 8th inning after going 2-for-4 with a double.

On offense, Omaha collected 12 hits and walked nine times. Christian Colon went 4-for-5 with two RBIs. Pedro Ciriaco went 2-for-4 with a double, a homerun, and four RBIs.

The offensive outburst made a winner of Danny Duffy, who allowed one run on five hits over five innings. He walked three, but struck out nine. Buddy Baumann followed with three scoreless innings of relief and struck out five.

NW Arkansas committed four errors, but had just three hits en route to their 5-0 loss to Tulsa.

Rey Navarro had two of the Naturals three hits.

Sugar Ray Marimon took the loss, as he allowed four runs (three earned) on eight hits (including two solo homeruns) over five innings. He did strike out three.

*Felipe Paulino will be re-starting his rehab assignment on Saturday, as he gets the start for the Naturals.
