We dropped the final curtain on the radio portion of the Kansas City Baseball Vault this week with nothing less than perfection. Not us, of course, we spent the hour discussing the ownership troubles of the Royals and our favorite segments from past shows. The perfection I refer to was our guest, none other than 1956 World Series MVP

Don Larsen

. Larsen spent two years also as a member of the Kansas City Athletics. We talked with him about his time in Kansas City, the famed World Series Perfect Game and the state of pitching in the Major Leagues today. He politely declined our offer to come back and pitch a few innings for the Royals.

Even though this was our last show on 1510 AM, you can still catch us EVERY week with here with the new and improved Kansas City Baseball Vault LIVE SATURDAYS at NOON Central time starting September 1. We’ll be live during the broadcast here and episodes will be downloadable on Kings of Kauffman as well as Stitcher, Tunein Radio and iTunes.

You can catch up on old episodes of the Kansas City Baseball Vault here on Kings of Kauffman. Episodes of the Royalman Report are available on the site as well.
