Down 6-0 after four innings, Omaha came back to defeat OKC, 7-6. A fielding error by the OKC pitcher cost them the winning run in the top of the 9th inning. Omaha broke their four game losing streak.

The Storm Chasers bullpen trio of Tommy Hottovy, Jeremy Jeffress, and Vin Mazzaro picked up starter Nathan Adcock. They threw four scoreless innings of relief.

Wil Myers went 3-for-4 with four RBIs as he hit two homeruns. Irving Falu and Tony Abreu each collected two hits. Mitch Maier played first base.

Despite coming back to tie the game in the bottom of the 8th inning, NW Arkansas lost to Springfield, 9-5. The Cardinals took a 4-0 lead in the 2nd inning, chasing Naturals starter Yordano Ventura from the game. Ethan Hollingsworth kept the Cardinals in check with 6.1 scoreless innings of relief.

The Naturals came back with three runs in the bottom of the 8th inning to tie the game, as Yem Prades doubled in one run and Kevin Kouzmanoff doubled in two more. However the Naturals bullpen trio of Nick Rogers and Jon Keck gave up five runs in the top of the 9th inning to give the Cardinals back the lead. Rogers threw just seven of his 25 pitches for strikes (four walks).

Yem Prades continues his hot hitting, as he went 3-for-5 with two doubles.

Wilmington enjoyed Monday off and now head to Winston-Salem to begin a three-game series on Tuesday.

Kane County swept Quad Cities with a 5-3 win on Monday afternoon. Angel Baez got the start and allowed three runs on five hits and three walks over five innings. The Cougars bullpen trio of Rudy Brown, Andrew Triggs, and Malcom Culver pitched four scoreless innings of relief.

Alex Llanos went 3-for-4 and Dean Espy went 2-for-4 with two doubles.

Bubba Watch: Bubba Starling went 2-for-4 with a double and a solo homerun in Burlington’s 8-2 loss.
