Noteworthy:
MLB Network will be televising the AFL Championship Game on Saturday at 1:30 pm CST.  The game will feature a matchup of the Phoenix Desert Dogs and the Peoria Javelinas.  If you need more reasons to turn away from college football for a few hours, the game will feature the top two draft picks from the 2009 draft.  RHP-Stephen Strasburg will be getting the start for the Desert Dogs and Seattle CF-Dustin Ackley plays for the Javelinas.  In case you miss it, I’ll probably provide some thoughts on the game in my AFL season wrap-up on Sunday.
