Kansas City Royals: How should you spend the offseason without baseball?

The MLB offseason can seem like the slowest time of year. Without Kansas City Royals baseball, fans have to find some other ways to pass the time until Opening Day.

The Kansas City Royals will not lace up their cleats and step onto the field at Kauffman Stadium for a while. In hopes of making the time pass a bit quicker, baseball fans have to find things to keep their minds busy. Here are a few suggestions to pass the time.

Determine what roughing the passer is

Perhaps one of the biggest mysteries of the NFL season has been the roughing the passer rule. Though the calls have slowed down a bit since the first few weeks, there still has yet to be an explanation. Perhaps you can determine how the rule is being interpreted by the time the MLB rolls back around.

Find a new hobby

Anything to take your mind off the fact that baseball isn’t going to be around for a while, right? Maybe learn a magic trick or two, or maybe even how to juggle.

Binge a new series (or a few series) on Netflix

Without baseball, you will have plenty of free time on your hands, Finding a series to binge to pass the time is a necessity.

Get into college basketball

By the time March Madness rolls around, the start of the 2019 baseball season will be extremely close. And considering the season has already started and is on TV nearly every night, it becomes one of the best ways to pass the time until the Kansas City Royals take to the field again.

Find your favorite minor league player in the Kansas City Royals system

The Kansas City Royals have a lot of great young talent just waiting to ascend through the system. It wouldn’t hurt to familiarize yourself with the names and faces, because they may have a place in the Major Leagues soon with the rebuild.
