I was born in 1986, which means the Royals have not been to the playoffs in my entire lifetime. I also don't remember much from the 1994 strike-shortened season, which means the best Royals team I can recall was the 2003 squad. Somehow, I've still learned to love the game of baseball, and despite the putrid record, there isn't much better than taking in a game at the K on a warm summer night. I graduated from a small college that no longer exists, in a small Nebraska town no one has heard of. Now living in Omaha, I spend my time with my wife, running, going to Storm Chasers games, and saving up enough money for those Royals playoff tickets.
