Omaha had off on Wednesday, as they start a four-game series in Colorado Springs on Thursday.

NW Arkansas has now won four in a row and have guaranteed themselves a series win over Springfield, as the Naturals won Wednesday afternoon by a 5-0 score.

Andy Ferguson earned his second win of the season and lowered his ERA to a miniscule 0.45. He allowed two hits and walked two over six scoreless innings. He struck out six.

Ali Williams was activated from the DL and allowed a hit over his scoreless inning of work. Daniel Stumpf worked two scoreless innings with two strikeouts.

The Naturals broke the game open with a four-run 5th inning. It started with a

double (one of his two hits).

Balbino Fuenmayor

capped the inning with a two-run double.

Alex Liddi

and

Anderson De La Rosa

each had two hits in the win.

Wilmington lost to Myrtle Beach, 2-1.

The game was scoreless until the seventh, when the Blue Rocks took the 1-0 lead on a Mauricio Ramos double. The Pelicans came right back with two runs in the eighth against Andrew Edwards (two singles, a walk, an error, a sac bunt, and a stolen base).

The Blue Rocks had a runner on first with one out in the bottom of the ninth, but the game ended on a double play.

Eric Skoglund took the no decision, as he allowed three hits and a walk over seven scoreless innings. He struck out five.

Lexington scored four runs in the first and never looked back, as they beat Rome, 7-2.

Carlos Garcia singled to start the bottom of the first, stole second base, and scored on Humberto Arteaga‘s single. Later in the inning, Wander Franco drove in two runs with a triple.

Nik Stephenson earned the win in relief of Emilio Ogando (4.1IP, 3H, 0R, 2BB, K). He allowed two runs on five hits over 4.2 innings. He struck out two.

The Legends collected eight hits, two by Samir Duenez, who also drove in two runs.
