Peoria scored all seven of their runs between the seventh and eighth innings en route to their 7-4 comeback win over Salt River. It was the Javelinas’ second win in a row, as they went 4-1 in Week 5 of the Arizona Fall League.

Third baseman Hunter Dozier played a big part of the Javelinas scoring. He was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in their three-run 7th inning. He singled in a run in the 8th inning. All-in-all, Dozier went 2-for-4.

Raul Mondesi was back in the lineup (shortstop, batting eighth). He went 0-for-4 and lined out to end both the seventh and the eighth.

Miguel Almonte got the start for Peoria and did not factor into the decision. He allowed two runs on five hits and three walks over four innings. He struck out two. Almonte threw 38 of his 69 pitches for strikes.

*First place Surprise plays Mesa tonight. A Saguaros loss would put Peoria in first place with four games left. Peoria and Surprise face off on both Monday and Thursday afternoon.
