The annual Arizona Fall League Fall Stars Game was held tonight at Salt River Field, as the East hosted the West. The home team won, 6-2.

The KC Royals had two representatives for the West Division. One of those was starting third baseman Hunter Dozier. He batted fifth and went 0-for-2. Nothing was hit in his direction to see how his defense has improved in the AFL.

Shortstop Raul Mondesi entered on defense for the West in the sixth. He had one at-bat, a pop up in foul territory with a runner on third base in the eighth.

The Star of the Game was NY Yankees first base prospect Greg Bird, who hit a towering home run for the East (it was his only hit). Others with good games included Brandon Nimmo (NY Mets) and Roman Quinn (Philadelphia), who each had two hits for the East. Quinn also stole two bases.

Hunter Renfroe (San Diego) hit a home run as pinch-hitter for the West. The West had six hits from six different players.
