Peoria led 3-2 heading into the bottom of the ninth in Salt River, but the Rafters tied the game and sent it into extra innings. The game ended in a 3-3 tie. It was the Javelinas second tie this week.

Raul Mondesi was the Peoria DH and had a very good game at the plate from the two hole. He went 2-for-5 with a double and a triple. He drove in a run, scored a run, and stole a base.

Hunter Dozier played third base and batted cleanup. It was another rough game at the plate, as he went 0-for-4 with four strikeouts. He did walk once and scored a run.

Miguel Almonte pitched two scoreless innings of work for the Javelinas. He allowed two hits, while striking out one. In the third and fourth innings, Almonte threw 21 pitches, 15 for strikes.

Lefty Sam Selman pitched the bottom of the 11th inning. He allowed two hits, but escaped the jam. He struck out one.

*Former Royal Patrick Leonard was once again at first base for Peoria and went 0-for-4 with a strikeout.
