Triple Play Podcast: Royals Trade Rumors, Yasmani Tomas, Kershaw’s No-No

facebooktwitterreddit

On this week’s episode of the Triple Play Podcast, my voice is noticeably absent – at least hopefully it’s noticeably absent – as I was out of town. Matt and Reese pick up the slack though, and they kick things off by discussing the next big Cuban slugger, Yasmani Tomas, who appears to be headed for a future in MLB. You may know of a certain team who could use a player with some power.

They also talk about Clayton Kershaw‘s phenomenal no-hitter last week, which was one of the greatest pitching performances of all time. You might remember Kershaw from his masterful 8 innings against the Royals last night. He’s kind of decent at throwing baseballs.

Speaking of the Royals, they’ve had scouts in attendance to watch the Cubs’ Jeff Samardzija recently, so the guys talk about a potential trade between the two teams, as well as some concerns they have with acquiring Shark.
