Triple Play Podcast: Ervin Santana, Yordano Ventura’s Performance, & Oakland A’s Preview

facebooktwitterreddit

This week on the podcast, Reese, Matt, and I talked about Ervin Santana signing with the Atlanta Braves, and how the deal should work out for all parties involved, including the Royals. We then discussed Yordano Ventura‘s dominance in spring training, and what kind of an impact he might have in Kansas City this season. After that, we talked about Danny Duffy‘s recent struggles, and whether or not a move to the bullpen would be the best option. Finally, we continued our look at other AL Wild Card contenders, this time focusing on the Oakland Athletics. We did record this prior to the news of Jarrod Parker being out for the year with Tommy John surgery, but all three of us still really like that team’s chances this year. There’s also more baseball talk at the end of the podcast, if you need to hear more of our voices, which I’m sure you do.
