Triple Play Podcast: Free Agents, Shields’ Contract, & Royals Prospect Rankings

On this week’s episode, Reese, Matt, and I discuss the recent contracts handed out to Ubaldo Jimenez and Homer Bailey, and how they affect former Royal Ervin Santana, and future former Royal James Shields. We also took some listener questions on the Royals’ roster, and talked about the Baseball America prospect rankings. We wrapped things up by kicking off our previews of the potential AL Wild Card contenders by going over the Yankees, from their half a billion dollars spent in free agency, to their infield full of 63-year old, injury prone players.
