Discussing Omaha’s Playoff Chase with Lee Warren

While the Royals were working on their own playoff hunt the Triple A Storm Chasers had a playoff push of their own.

So we called up Lee Warren who’s covered Omaha baseball for years (and, in fact, you can follow him at @OmahaBaseball on Twitter). He discussed the late surge that clinched the Storm Chasers’ playoff spot and their success against Oklahoma City. He also shared his observations of some of the players in Triple A and how they fit into the big picture in Kansas City.

We then answered some listener questions, including one about the September call ups of Pedro Ciriaco and Carlos Pena.
