Omaha fell a game back for the American Northern Division title with a 5-4 loss in eleven innings to Round Rock.

The Storm Chasers led 4-3 heading into the ninth, but Buddy Baumann allowed a leadoff single and was replaced by Brian Sanches. He allowed an RBI single with one out. In the 11th, Sanches allowed a leadoff home run for the game winner. Omaha went down in order on three ground outs in the bottom of the 1th.

On offense in the loss, Christian Colon went 3-for-5 and Ben Broussard went 2-for-5.

One night after being eliminated from postseason play, NW Arkansas lost in walk off fashion to second half winner Arkansas, 3-2.

The Naturals led 2-1 heading into the bottom of the ninth. Santiago Garrido walked the first batter and hit the next before allowing an RBI single to tie the game. After an intentional walk loaded the bases, he was replaced by Jon Keck. Keck struck out the first batter he faced before uncorking a wild pitch to end the game.

That negated the solid start by Jason Adam, who allowed one run (in the first inning) on four hits, two walks, and a hit batter. He struck out four over seven innings.

The Naturals runs came via solo homers by Rey Navarro and Mitch Canham.

Wilmington won their first game against Winston-Salem by an 8-3 score.

Dennis Raben hit two home runs and drove in three RBIs. Parker Morin went 2-for-4 for the win.

After Tripp Davis struggled through four innings in the start (five hits and three runs), the Blue Rocks bullpen was great. It started with Cory Hall, who picked up the win (one perfect inning). Big leaguer Wade Davis followed with two scoreless innings. He struck out five. Louis Coleman struck out the side in the eighth before Tyler Sample pitched a perfect ninth.

*In roster news, Davis was added as starter JC Sulbaran was placed on the inactive list and reliever Malcom Culver was promoted to NWA.

Lexington and West Virginia were suspended in the third inning, with the Power leading 1-0. The game will be made up on Sunday.
