Omaha started their road trip with a win, a 3-0 victory over Round Rock.

Christian Colon drove in the game’s first run with a two out single (one of his three hits). In the 6th inning, the Storm Chasers scored two runs, one on an error and one on a ground out.

Kelvin Herrera started with 3.1 scoreless innings. He did walk two, but struck out three. Chris Dwyer followed with 5.2 scoreless innings to pick up the win (and even his record to 6-6).

NW Arkansas was pounded in Midland by a 16-6 final. The Rockhounds put the game away with an eight-spot in the bottom of the seventh.

Brian Fletcher extended his hitting streak to 13 games and multi-hit streak to five games (3-for-5). Orlando Calixte and Yem Prades each collected two hits.

Out of the six pitchers for the Naturals who toed the rubber, Edwin Carl pitched the best. He threw two scoreless innings of relief with three strikeouts.

Wilmington lost their opener in Potomac with a 3-1 loss. The P-Nats scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth on a homerun.

Kyle Zimmer took the loss, giving up that three-run homerun. Over six innings, he allowed six hits while striking out seven.

The Blue Rocks lone run came in the top of the ninth on Jack Lopez‘ homerun. They did have the tying run on base in the ninth with one out, but could not tie the game.

Lexington won their series opener in West Virginia with a 3-0 win.

Mark Threlkeld doubled in the Legends first run in the 3rd inning (one of his three hits). Raul Mondesi and Cameron Gallagher each collected two hits in the win.

Leonel Santiago picked up his first win of the season with seven shutout innings. He allowed five hits and two walks while striking out three.
