Omaha came back on Wednesday night after being thrashed in the first game to beat Reno, 9-6. They now return to Omaha with the best-of-five Pacific Coast League Finals tied at 1-1. That game will be Friday night with Nate Adcock getting the start.

The Storm Chasers only led 2-1 heading into the top of the 5th inning, but scored five runs. In that inning, they hit three homeruns. With one out, Anthony Seratelli hit a two-run homerun. Three batters later, Max Ramirez hit a two-run homerun (he went 2-for-5). Five pitches later, Mitch Maier hit a solo shot. Maier also threw a runner out at the plate in the 3rd inning.

That inning was HUGE, as Storm Chasers starter Ryan Verdugo allowed four runs in the bottom of the inning. Three of those runs scored on Mike Jacobs‘ three-run homer (his second homerun of the finals).

Omaha added some insurance with two runs in the top of the 7th inning on Adam Moore‘s two-run single with two outs.
