It is amazing what a difference one games makes. Yesterday I was in the dumps after the weekend. Now I fell 100% better. Keep it up boys. I can start to see Hosh. taking on Verlander and winning.

@eric.akers It'd be nice to get some stability in the rotation. They have options, just not great ones up until they decide to pull the trigger on Odorizzi and Montgomery. Other teams are starting to pull their prospects up (Rizzo/Martin Perez) so it should be safe to call someone up without worry of Super Two so it's really just a decision if they think the player(s) will be ready to handle the big leagues.

Kind of thinking it's time to just try it out and see.

An article in the KCStar discusses how the Royals are about to make some changes in the rotation (http://www.kansascity.com/2012/06/25/3675780/rotation-changes-appear-likely.html). Thank goodness. Teaford will apparently get another shot at the rotation, and I think he deserves it. It's possible that this will cause an earlier than planned callup for Odorizzi or Montgomery, but I am doubting that will happen.

As for Hooch, he was impressive up through his very last pitch. Even when multiple runners got on in the later innings, he did not panic and made good pitches.
