@michael.allen.engel You're probably right on Myers. Yem Prades is off to a heck of a start anyway, and age wise, they might want to push him anyhow.

I know some of the Royals prospects had rough seasons last year, but there is still so much talent. Jason Adam is off to a tremendous start, and Jorge Bonifacio is just mashing.

I was surprised they left Starling in extended spring. You think he, Brickhouse, and Smith might get a look in Kane County at some point this summer. I go to Midwest League games so I wouldn't mind catching them. Going to try and catch Bonifacio for sure.

@MCBjohnverburg Yeah I like Odorizzi. Dwyer is such a weird prospect. He's a little old, but didn't have a lot of college experience. My hunch on Dwyer, though, is that when (if) he figures it out, it'll be a striking change. It's just a hunch, but I think if he gets his command right, he'll tear through a seven or eight start stretch of just dominance.

Or he'll keep walking 4-5 a game.

My guess is that they don't see Myers as moving up that quickly unless he absolutely tears it up in a .400/.500/.600 kind of way. Service time and all that, plus they may feel comfortable trying Bourgeois/Dyson/Maier in right or calling up David Lough or Derrick Robinson (more likely Lough). Then Myers might be a mid-13 guy. But I also didn't think they'd call up Hosmer as early as May 2011, either, so what the heck do I know?

Thanks for dropping by John.

I think you guys have to hope for Odorrizzi as well. Chris Dwyer could get to the Royals if he could show some command.

Royals might be best off really hoping Franceour hits before the deadline, and they can go and get a pitching prospect, then just bring Myers up to get some experience before next year.
