		<description>A great look at a very complicated situation. It makes me wish I were inside Hosmer&#039;s head so I could know what&#039;s going on. I do wonder about the risk of going &quot;all in.&quot; I hate the idea of mortgaging a future to win now because there&#039;s no guarantee of winning &quot;now.&quot; Ask the Brewers. If I had to put a number on it, I&#039;d say there&#039;s a 25% chance Hosmer signs a team-friendly contract (which would be any contract that doesn&#039;t cripple us). That potentiality sucks because I think Hosmer&#039;s a good guy, and I love having him in KC. I don&#039;t want to see KC turn against him for wanting more money or for KC to turn on the Royals because they can&#039;t pay him the money to keep him. It&#039;s a situation that could turn into a lose-lose in about 6 years.</description>
