		<description>@mmeade17 I KNOW that Kevin will have opinions on pitching to contact, so I hope that&#039;s the case with Duffy, that he&#039;s just going to pound the zone and induce bad contact or get strike one. He&#039;s one of three guys who could potentially strike out better than 7.5 per nine next year, and that&#039;s a good place to start getting a rotation in line. (And that assumes that Montgomery isn&#039;t up right away or that Crow is in the rotation while Paulino is - which, to me, is a safe assumption, but Ned&#039;s a wacky dude.)</description>

		<description>What I think of when I hear &quot;one-pitch out&quot; isn&#039;t necessarily the idea of pitching to contact, but rather throwing pitches early in the count that force the hitter to choose between taking a good, pitcher&#039;s strike or putting the ball weakly in play. If a pitcher throws a lot of those pitches early in counts, he&#039;ll get more guys out with one, two, or three pitches. If he refines his command and learns to force the hitter into one of two negative choices, he can really take a step forward. That and learning to put guys away when he has them 0-2 or 1-2 are two huge issues for him.</description>
