@Alan_Barrington It’s one of those moments where I’ll remember where I was. I remember where I was when George Brett announced his retirement. We’d been driving back from grabbing lunch somewhere and they announced it on the radio then we got home and it was on TV. Then I pretty much started bawling.

And yeah, I was 12-13 years old. I don’t care haha. 12-13 year olds can cry when that happens.

You had to remind me of the Saberhagen trade again, didn’t you? It’s been 20 years, and I’m still bitter. It’s moves like some of these you mentioned above that make you think a monkey could make better decisions by rolling dice or drawing straws. The jury is still out on DM, although his decisions show a bit more promise than many of his predecessors.
