What I don't expect him to do is chase balls up around his eyes or try to chase a ball low and away. 5th will put him ahead of Frenchy, so Moose will see more pitches out of the zone that he can't do anything with anyway and the last part of last year showed that he could wait for a pitch. That's a constant theme of Seitzer's, wait for a pitch you can handle, then handle it. Moose strikes me as a serious student of the game and I don't think he'll waste his opportunity. I would add that I think Moose hits 5th against righties, between Billy and Frenchy, maybe 6th against lefties, and will walk quite a bit more this year with righties being careful of him to get to Frenchy.
