I think this is a situation where the bitterness toward new fans could only hurt the movement. Kansas City is a small market, and it's fans need to be actively recruiting new fans not shunning them or looking down on them. The product they have now is exciting and has the potential to make those new fans die hards pretty easily. I'm on the side of more fans equals more revenue and a better chance to make this team something really special.

Well if you ever need a correspondent from Washington state, Im in. But having seen a bandwagon grow firsthand while living in the shadow of Seattle I wont be on the fence when it comes to an influx of new Royals fans...they must pay their dues.

Am I bitter I sat though many of the painful lowlights you mentioned in addition to hundreds of my own (I flew down to see them play in Oakland and watched Yabuta essentially pitch BP one frigid night)?, Dang right Im bitter and I thing KoK needs to develop some sort of socially acceptable form of hazing for our new recruits if by the grace of God they have a reason to show up
