I remember the Gerald Perry one. My dad was taking me to the game and I was all excited to see Nolan Ryan pitch in person. And, of course, we were late, so I heard it on the radio.

I was in the outfield experience with my daughter when Yuni came up to bat. She loved Yuni and wanted to watch him hit. I said that if he it a home run, it would tie the game, but it had a special name. As soon as she said, "Yeah, it's a grand slam," he hit it.

He then drove in the winning run in extra innings in that game, solidifying him in her book as a verifiable hero.
