By leading the Tampa Bay Rays to the American League Wild Card in dramatic fashion, Joe Maddon was selected as the FanSided Network’s American League Manager of the Year.
If someone can take Kyle Farnsworth, Joel Peralta and Juan Cruz and head to the playoffs, well, he’s probably deserving.

I'm a KU grad and longtime Royals fan who shudders at the names Ricky Bottalico, Kerry Robinson, and others too terrible to recount, while also longing for the days when Johnny Damon would do commercials with George Brett.
