@benjammin9287 He was playing with a nagging injury for most of August and September. I am not trying to make excuses for him. He is a tough young kid, and wanted to be in the lineup. But he was banged up for a better part of the 2nd half. He still had very good OBP and SLG skills, as well as good defense at 3B.

Injury? what injury? He just slumped terribly the last month. Stop making excuses for him. there was no injury or he wouldnt have been playing. His numbers arent better than the final line because all ABs count. Solid prospect no doubt, but he doesnt need (or want) you making him into the victim

Cuthbert's season was MUCH better than final line shows. He was tearing the cover off the ball for nearly 3 months before an injury set him back. I think he might have worn out down the stretch also. He was hitting closer .320/.420/.520 before the injury, I believe. His first full season was success, and he should be ready for more of a challenge next year. He can still take full season stops at every level and be in KC before he turns 23.
