With the season officially over for the Royals, this week’s Royalman Report looked a lot at what lay ahead.
After a necessary recap of the Royals year and discussion of if they were better than their record indicated (and I’d like to thank Royally Speaking and KC Longball for putting the idea in my head – a lot of the numbers came from them), we talked about coaching changes and a potential shift in the direction of the team.
Then we were joined with Corey Ettinger from AL Central in Focus, who gave his opinion on the outlook for 2012 and the Royals timeline for success. We also touched on the impact of Twitter and blogging on sports media and how teams in the AL Central approach the topic.
