Teaford is a weird one. He was always making steady jumps from level to level, but he was always a little old for his levels. Up until 2010, he didn't have any GREAT numbers that stood out, but was never bad either. In 2010, he learned the cutter from AA coach, and has been striking out people like crazy. He isn't supposed to be a front of the rotatation big time propect, but if he can develop into a middle of the rotatation option then that is good enough for me.

He'll get a chance in spring, and could very well open up the season with the Royals. Monty, Crow, Odorizzi, Dwyer, Mendoza, SOS, and Mazzaro will also get looks. With Hoch, Duffy, and Paulino pretty well locks, it all depends on if a trade happens for a #1.
