It’s one thing to have patience with a rookie or second year player. We all understand the need to let the inexperienced players develop, even through failure. But if you haven’t figured it out by year seven…it’s past time to move on. How many other guys made it seven years with a 5.65 career ERA? Not to mention a $3.2M salary!
