I don't think that that counts as an option since prior to his contract being purchased, he was a regular minor leaguer and not on the 40 man. Since being added to the 40 man, he was optioned to Omaha in 2009 to start the year (1) and in 2010 started the year there again (2) so he SHOULD have one more option IF I'm right about the September callup not counting as one (since he wasn't sent down after having his contract purchased...every day he was in the minors, he was not on the 40 man). I'm 70% certain about that. I tried to read the MLBPA CBA but man. That's some dry stuff on a Saturday night. Kila was added to the 40 man in September 2008.
