I have been a loyal follower of Poz for the last 15 years but, as is the case with his article, Royal Flush, he often exaggerates to a silly level. Its like he cant help it. He did the same thing with the Grienke cover article. Anyone who read that article and didnt know otherwise, would assume grienke would be the best pitcher in baseball by a wide margin for the next 10 years when in reality, he is probably the 15th or 20th best pitcher. Same with this one. He takes the best possible angle of a scenerio and then tweaks it even a pinch more. The line where he says, "The Royals might have as many top-level prospects as any 10 teams in baseball combined" is ridiculous. No one would seriously buy that because it is not true. I know he's having fun and all but it doesnt help his credibility or Kansas City's...On the flip side, I thought his article on Brett was some of his best work in years. The season that Brett had in 85 was one of the greatest efforts in modern history and it paid off.
