To Tender or Not to Tender?

That is the question. The Royals have a bunch of decisions to make this offseason regarding players to keep or resign. They already made one choice by picking up David Dejesus’ option and gave up several others by trading Farnsworth, Ankiel, etc. However, they’ve got a long way to go and several of these choices will be made regarding arbitration-eligible players. Contributors Wanted

My goal this offseason is to cover all the bases.  There are winter meetings, winter leagues, hot stove chatter, roster changes, spring training battles to preview, and tons of other information to process and pontificate on.  That being the case, I’m looking for a crew of contributors to join Kings of Kauffman. Retro Recap: I-70 Series Game 2 – Pop Quiz

So the Royals dropped Game 1 at home to the Cardinals, but Danny Jackson pitched very well and Kansas City played some sparkling defense. Still, they left too many runners on base and missed some opportunities. But Game 2 is another day, right? Right?

Another Season In The Books

No, it’s not particularly Royals related, but it’s baseball related and that’s close enough for me. This is always a bittersweet day for me.  Since I can remember, I’ve been a baseball fan, and even in the long haul that is the major league baseball season, I’m comforted knowing that there’s a game going on somewhere. Until there isn’t.
