It will also create excitement at the top of the lineup even if Robinson and Dyson aren't getting on base (think Vince Coleman and Willie McGee STL circa 1985). Let Mouse play right away and hope he can find his inner Buster Posey. As for the starting rotation I'd like this for opening day.... I see the Royals heading in the same direction as the 2007 Tampa Bay Rays before exploding in 2008. Let the prospects play and see what you got. What's the worse case losing?? He intentionally brought in players like Guillen and managers like Hillman to sandbag the team for enough time to rack up high draft picks. Once he had our farm system stacked he tossed the dead weight to make room for these future superstars on the roster.
