For what it's worth, I think Lough's on the 40 man at the time of the Rule Five (and was surprised all year that he wasn't already on the 40 man) and wouldn't expect a team to draft Derrick Robinson so I don't think he needs to be protected, but there is some dead weight to cut away if they chose to do so.
