K.C. has been missing a solid middle relief/set-up man for the past 5 years. While the Royals may have a strong back end of the bullpen with Soria, its the 7th and 8th innings that have haunted the club. While not many players are brought up to specifically be a middle reliever/set-up guy, the Royals might want to consider the option with Hardy. I say this because the offseason acquisitions of veteran middle/late relievers like Juan Cruz, Kyle Farnsworth, Robinson Tejeda, and Octavio Dotel have not been positive for K.C., but rather have been players who mostly have conspired to weaken the club over the years.
