Kendall should stay at the bottom of the order, for sure. I suspect Yost will make that call soon.

Bruce Chen looks like a different pitcher from last season. It appears his recovery from surgery is complete. He's pitching like a cagey old veteran, and it feels like we have a chance to win every time he takes the mound now (the same cannot be said for Meche this season).

I must admit I've never been a real believer in DeJesus (I always felt he should hit sixth and play 3-4 times per week). But his solid play is forcing me to re-evaluate, which practically guarantees he will be traded soon.

Nice Rewind post.

Perhaps if he shows he can handle both the outfield and hitting at a reasonable clip, it'll make him a more attractive trading chip. I really want to see Ka'aihue back up before September, even if it means the Royals play the "fudge the DL game" somehow.

Gordon may not make it for a while unless DeJesus gets moved. He's played a lot of right field lately - maybe it's in preparation for him taking David's place following a trade. But I also think Gordon needs to come back up relatively soon.

Gordon has an 1.128 OPS in Omaha - Ka'aihue 1.085. Why is Guillen still clogging up the roster? Somebody must think he could be useful down the stretch.
