With Robinson Tejeda’s calf giving him problems, the Royals have sent 1B Kila Ka’aihue back down to Omaha and purchased the contract of RHP Brian Bullington from Omaha. Ka’aihue was 1-4 in two appearances since his call up on May 5.
Bullington, a former number one overall pick by Pittsburgh, was 2-0 with a 1.71 ERA in seven games for Omaha – five of those were starts.
