I saw something somewhere earlier today that KC is 58-104 in their last 162. Yuck. I mean...I guess it'd get us another #1 overall...and we could have an official GM this time to make that pick.

Yeah no kidding Mike! I'm going to have to boot you from the Davies fan club if you keep doing this to him ...

Don't look now but the boys in blue are on pace for a record of 61-101. At least they have some games against the NL coming up. I don't imagine they will fare well against the Rockies or Cardinals, but they should fatten up (or at least play 0.500 ball) on the Reds, Astros, Braves, and Nationals.

Yeah, I think I'll just keep my mouth shut next time. On the bright side, we scored 12 runs?

Er.

Yeah, that was maybe the weirdest game ever - Yuni walks twice, Pods to the upper deck, Vlad hitting a pitch off his hip about 400 feet, Soria giving up back to back homers for the first time EVER. After the game, I should have been pretty upset after that kind of loss, but I just ... didn't. I think it was so bizarre I didn't know how to react.

But Hosmer and Moose are fine. Phew.

Oh boy...

Davies - 4IP 9ER 3BB 2K... ERA 5.45

Soria - .1IP 2ER (2HR's)... ERA 3.75

I put this at your feet, Mike. That's what you get for pumping sunshine. Based on these two results I'm willing to bet that Hosmer broke his leg last night, Moose pulled his hammy, and Kila was sent back down to Omaha... Thanks, Mike.
